Strictly Come Dancing is back for another exciting season, with the series celebrating a landmark 20 years on air!

Among those excited to take part in all the celebrations is reigning Strictly Come Dancing champion Vito Coppola, who lifted the Glitterball trophy in 2023 alongside Ellie Leach.

Vito is a professional dancer who has been performing from a young age. He's no stranger to dancing on TV either, having won the Italian version of Strictly in 2021 with pop star Arisa.

He has also appeared on Ballando con le Stelle (Dancing with the Stars), and is a three-time World Championship finalist and European Cup winner.

Speaking of how it feels to be a part of Strictly's 20th year, Vito said he is "so excited".

"I'm really looking forward to it because every year is special, but this year is even more so. I remind myself all the time how lucky I am," he explained.

"We're all lucky to be here, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Strictly. Every single week, every single thing we do this year will be special and magical.

"We're always trying to find what’s original, unique and authentic, and with Strictly, nothing is predictable."
